People from Hong Kong, Korea, Australia, Denmark, Norway, Finland and the United States have come to visit us to learn how our Clubhouse operates for people living with the effects of an acquired brain injury.

Founded in 2004, the International Brain Injury Clubhouse Alliance (IBICA) is a collaborative network
of Clubhouses that serves persons with brain injury and stroke through the use of the Clubhouse Model.
A Clubhouse is a community of people who have sustained devastating life altering events and need the support of others who believe that healing is possible for all. In this pursuit, IBICA promotes the development and strengthening of Clubhouses all over the world.
Originally founded in 1986, as the ONTARIO HEAD INJURY ASSOCIATION, O.B.I.A. is a charity dedicated to preventing traumatic brain injuries and to improving the quality of life for survivors of acquired brain injury, their families and the community with which they interact.
